TITLE : SUMMER VACATION OF MY CHILDHOOD  ( PART-8)

                               SUB-TITLE : REASON OF SUMMER VACATION

During the Industrial Revolution, As factories and industries developed, workers, including children, were subjected to long hours of labor in often harsh conditions. That result, there was a growing recognition of the need for breaks and time off from work. The concept of summer vacation is believed to have originated in Europe during the 19th century, but it does not have a specific inventor. In parallel, education systems were also undergoing transformations. The academic calendar was adjusted as like breaks throughout the year, including a longer break during the summer months ( break duration minimum 2 month ). The exact timing and duration of summer vacations varied across different regions and countries. The tradition was reinforced by the agricultural calendar, as children were needed to help with farm work during the summer months. There is not a single person is responsible for summer vacation , there is a group of people who recognised the need of rest of the human body both for children and adults also , and after that the concept of summer vacation came. The summer vacation typically coincides with the months of May and June, when the heat is at its peak, This break allows students and teachers to escape the oppressive heat and have a period of respite. During the summer months, agricultural activities such as sowing and harvesting are minimal, as the extreme heat adversely affects crops, That is the another factor influencing the timing of summer vacation in India is the agricultural cycle and many families have agricultural backgrounds, so the students are need to a break during these month of time or period to support their families in agricultural work or to engage in other recreational activities. Summer vacations also provides an opportunity for students to participate in extracurricular activities . Summer vacation allows them to explore our interested fields and develop our skills in outside of the world academic activities. India experiences very high temperatures during the summer months, with some regions reaching scorching temperatures that can make it difficult to carry out regular activities. The main reason for the summer vacation in schools is to provide relief from the extreme heat.
